Last updated: 25 September 2026

1. Who we are

IELTS-IQ is an online IELTS preparation service operated from Beirut, Lebanon. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “IELTS-IQ” mean the service; “you” means the person who creates an account or pays for access.

2. What you are buying

Access to the IELTS-IQ platform is sold as a subscription. A subscription gives you, for the period paid for:

Private one-to-one sessions, where purchased, are sold separately and are not part of a subscription.

3. What you are not buying

To avoid any doubt, a subscription does not include:

4. When your account opens

Your account is opened by hand, normally within one to two hours of payment being received, and you are messaged on the number you provided. Payments made overnight are opened the following morning. If your account has not been opened within twenty-four hours of payment, contact us and we will open it.

5. Your account

You must give accurate details when you register, including a working phone number. Your login is personal to you. Sharing your login, or giving another person access to the platform through your account, ends your access immediately and without refund.

6. Live seminars

Live seminars run at published times and are recorded. Attendance is not compulsory and recordings are made available to subscribers. We may change the time of a seminar, or cancel one, and will give notice on the platform or by message where we can. A cancelled seminar is rescheduled; it does not entitle you to a refund.

7. Recordings and material

All lessons, recordings, worksheets, slides, practice questions and reports on the platform belong to IELTS-IQ. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, publish, resell, share or distribute them, and you may not record a live seminar yourself.

8. Marking

Written and spoken work is marked automatically against the IELTS band descriptors, with teacher review where indicated. Marking is a teaching tool. It is an estimate and it is not an official IELTS result, and no band shown on the platform is a prediction of the band you will be awarded by an official test centre.

9. Conduct

Submitting work that is not your own, including work produced by an AI writing tool and presented as your own, is a breach of these Terms. Where we find it, we will tell you, and repeated instances end your access without refund.

10. Refunds

We do not give refunds. No payment for a subscription or a session is returned, in whole or in part, for any reason. This is set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Ending your access

You may stop using the platform at any time. Money already paid is not returned; see the Refund Policy. We may end your access where you breach these Terms, and no part of the period you paid for is returned.

12. Changes

We may change these Terms. The version on this page at the time you pay is the version that applies to that payment. Changes are not applied retrospectively to a subscription already running.

13. Liability

We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for your examination result, for any decision taken by a university, employer or immigration authority on the basis of it, or for loss of opportunity arising from either. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction.
